1. Who We Are
GolfScoreHQ ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by GolfScoreHQ LLC. Our platform is available at golfscorehq.com. We provide a golf improvement membership platform including score tracking tools, instructional guides, community features, and related content.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using GolfScoreHQ, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to update it as necessary. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at coach@golfscorehq.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
4. Free Trial
We offer a 7-day free trial for new members. A valid payment method is required to start your trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and your payment method will be charged on day 8 at the applicable plan rate.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
GolfScoreHQ is offered as a paid subscription on a monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. All fees are stated in US dollars and are non-refundable except as required by law or as otherwise stated in these Terms. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice to existing subscribers.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Account Settings or by contacting us at coach@golfscorehq.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the platform until that date. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods.
7. Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. GolfScoreHQ does not store your full payment card information. By providing payment details, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify you and retry the charge. Continued non-payment may result in suspension or termination of your account.
8. Platform Content and Intellectual Property
All content on GolfScoreHQ — including guides, videos, tools, graphics, copy, and course materials — is owned by GolfScoreHQ LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the content for your own personal golf improvement. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from any platform content without our express written consent.
9. User-Generated Content
You may submit content to the platform, including round data, practice logs, and community posts ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display it for the purpose of operating and improving the platform. You are solely responsible for your User Content and agree not to post anything unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or in violation of any third party's rights.
10. Prohibited Conduct
When using GolfScoreHQ, you agree not to: share your account credentials with others; attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy our platform; interfere with or disrupt platform security or infrastructure; use the platform for any unlawful purpose; or harass other members in community areas. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
11. Third-Party Services
GolfScoreHQ integrates with third-party services including Supabase (authentication and data storage), Stripe (payment processing), Circle (community features), and Vercel (hosting). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party providers.
12. Disclaimers
GolfScoreHQ is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce specific improvements to your golf game. Golf improvement results vary by individual and depend on many factors outside our control. We are not professional golf instructors and the content on this platform does not constitute personalized instruction.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GolfScoreHQ LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GolfScoreHQ LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the platform.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Your continued use of GolfScoreHQ after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your subscription before they take effect.
